Platinum CO₂ Lasers

The Platinum series of lasers is the Transversely Excited Atmospheric (TEA) CO₂ lasers in the product line of standard commercially available lasers from SDILasers. These lasers all work at a pressure of 1 atmosphere and they are grouped into two categories: namely the WH series and the HF series. The WH series product line in works at low repetition rates and high pulse energies with some of the larger models in the series working at high repetition rates. The HF series product line in contrast provides low pulse energies and high repetition rates.

The Platinum series of TEA CO₂ lasers is suitable for applications such as non-destructive testing, decoating, annealing, wire stripping, LIDAR, EUV generation, high energy physics and THz imaging.

The Platinum series are well designed machines with excellent component life times, good output stability and ease of maintenance. The system designs have benefitted from many hours of life time and performance testing.

The lasers are suitable for any environment from industrial applications to laboratory installations. Optional extra hardware can also be added to the lasers such as the agile tuner, solid state switcher, sidearm catalyst, gas flow system, grating, single longitudinal mode and beam shaping.
